Arthur Conan Doyle (1859 – 1930) was an English writer best known for his detective stories about Sherlock Holmes. This volume contains twelve of author’s best short stories like “The Last of the Legions,” “Through the Veil” and “The Coming of the Huns,” set in the early centuries of civilization up to the first millennium.
