The Europeans

Henry James (1843–1916) was an American author regarded as a key transitional fi gure between literary realism and literary modernism. «The Europeans» is a wonderful comedy, contrasting the behaviour and attitudes of two visitors from Europe with those of their relatives living in the ‘new’ world of New England.
